High School Resources

We recommend students begin the high school exploration process in seventh grade, as some application timelines—such as the one for SLPS magnet and free choice schools—begin as early as October of a student’s eighth grade year.

We encourage SCCS middle school students to attend shadow days and open houses hosted by local high schools. We hope the links here will help parents reach out and make contact with high schools of interest, and we may also update this page with upcoming dates and opportunities as they become available.

The schools highlighted below are all in geographic proximity to SCCS and are typically given strong consideration by our graduates. Parents may also want to explore schools that are listed on the websites of Independent Schools of St. Louis, the Archdiocese, as well as the full range of magnet and free choice SLPS schools. Also check out Westminster Christian Academy—the only CSASL member school that offers grades nine to twelve.
