Partnership

We believe that our well-being and effectiveness depends upon many relationships of mutual support within our local community and beyond. The following organizations are ones that partner with SCCS in various capacities.

Brown Sisters Foundation

In the fall of 2019 SCCS was awarded a generous $25,000 challenge grant from the Brown Sisters Foundation, a St. Louis faith-based philanthropic organization. The Brown Sisters Foundation carefully vets their grantees and believes in the future of South City Community School, particularly our positive impact on the lives of children. This grant challenged us to raise $150,000— a 6:1 match—by October 2020.

Ditto Family Resale

We partner with Ditto Family Resale—a successful resale store whose revenue supports Christian education in St. Louis. All SCCS families participate in a volunteer program at Ditto and, in turn, we receive a portion of Ditto’s annual revenue. The revenue we receive from Ditto contributes a significant portion of our annual operating budget.

Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation

The Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation is a local Catholic scholarship fund that allows St. Louis children in need to attend a school of their choice. We are grateful for the opportunities TTEF creates for students to attend SCCS.

Childlight Schools Association

SCCS is a member of Childlight Schools Association, a network of Charlotte Mason Schools primarily in the southeast. Members of our faculty attend the annual CSA conference in the fall to attend professional development workshops on Charlotte Mason.

Christian Schools Association of St. Louis
