Summer Camp 2023
Students entering PK4 through sixth grade are invited to join us for Summer Camp 2023! All are welcome—enrollment is open to non-SCCS students. We are offering four weeks of in-person day camp this summer.
Camp programming runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the option to enroll in daily ExtDay from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. based on your family’s needs. Campers will bring their own snack and lunch to camp.
Each of the four camp weeks offer indoor and outdoor experiences, including activities such as nature study, sports & games, lego builds and creative arts. The semi-structured daily schedule allows our excellent staff of teachers and group leaders to cultivate a safe space for discovery and play.
Current 7th/8th graders and SCCS Alumni 9th-12th graders are invited to join in on the fun and apply for the Youth Servant Leader (YSL) program. They work volunteer hours, assisting staff, playing games with campers, and having the opportunity to build leadership skills.
Favorite experiences from camp include weekly assemblies, worship, and walks to Tower Grove Park for Field Day! – Come and join us at SCCS Summer Camp where we play, laugh and build lasting relationships!

Current SCCS families who register before April 8th will be charged for camp electronically through their school FACTS account. All non-SCCS families and SCCS families registering after April 7th will pay for camp by checks made payable to South City Community School.

What is ExtDay?
All SCCS Extended Day Programs are play-based, semi-structured childcare. Once the regular camp day ends, campers enrolled in our ExtDay will have the option to stay beyond 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Additionally, campers can arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. based on your family’s needs. Campers who register for ExtDay will be enrolled for all five days of the corresponding camp week. Rates are charged on a per-week basis, regardless of attendance or variable of pick up time between 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Overnight Camp at Ridge Haven Cono
SCCS students entering third through eighth grades are welcome to join us for a week of overnight camp at Ridge Haven Cono again this summer from July 24-29, 2023! Read more information about this week-long experience.
